Talk To Tots

Talking to your toddler is important — Here's why!

Did you know that you can help your child excel in school by simply talking to them? The more words and sounds your child hears in the very early years from birth to 3 years the better they will do in school. Talk to your child as you are doing daily activities such as diaper changes, feeding etc. Keep a conversation going about what your child is doing for example,  I see you picked the red ball, I like red too." And for your child's sake, make sure the words he or she hears are words that you don't mind them learning. Children pick up the "bad" words as quickly as they pick up the "good" words!
