Three New Positive COVID-19 Cases
Randolph County, MO: The Randolph County Health Department was notified of 3 new positive COVID-19 cases within the county. Two of these cases were direct contacts of others who had previously tested positive for the virus and had already been quarantined by health department officials due to contact tracing. The third case was related to an outbreak at a community event outside of Randolph County.
All of the patients have been contacted by RCHD staff and are isolated at home. Contact tracing has been completed for all of their direct contacts.
Randolph County currently has 12 active cases, 12 recovered, 0 deaths, and 1 of the active cases is hospitalized.
We encourage you to continue practicing social distancing, washing your hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, cover your cough and sneeze, wear a mask if social distancing cannot be maintained, and to stay at home and away from others if you are sick.
